how about the Galant VR-4, kinda rare nowadays, but a beast when tuned. I ran against one in my friends Volvo 740 Turbo, and got beat. He was laying down at least 350 whp and had a full leather interior, now that is a great package.
Well, I have 316whp soon to be damn near 400 if not above and a full leather interior. I hope I'm the first one to get on a dyno with the WR, cams, and inake mani

Wow isn't it amazing that we have to go up to cars that base at around $50K and up just to make an comparison with the EVO.

I say SRT-8 for sure.
That's a reliability issue, not speed or handling ect...

Hey, for 30 grand... the only car would be the STi to compare. All those other cars are 40+ range.... so they can't be held in comparison. Plus the inline 4... the other cars aren't....

I think those times are way underrated. the 390hp Cobra is hitting 12.4 stock.

Sorry but the average 390HP Cobra does not hit 12.4 Stock especially on street tires (drag radials or slicks are mods). Now I know a couple have made very quick passes in the 12.4 to 12.5 range, but to claim this as normal would be incorrect. Most stock Cobra owners hit high 12s to low 13s. If your gonna claim the Cobra as a 12.4 car because couple of peeps hit those times, then people can go ahead and call the EVO a 12 second car stock cuz a couple of peeps hit those times stock.
