Suspension or Crucial Underbody Damage?

So last night I was driving and decided to be lazy and not back up when doing a U-turn down my street and I guess when my car went over the curve there was some sort of water cover or sewage hole that stuck out a little on the curve and when I drove over it it must have it my tiebar especially since I have the spacers for the Buschur exhaust.

I didnt realize the damage until I was looking under the car today. Basically the first tiebar towards the front was bent like a V. And the left side of my where the tiebar is bolted to near the suspension a bit of the steel is bent and ripped out. The V shape that the tiebar is in, I guess was from the force of hitting the water cover/sewage hole and in turn pull on the points where the tiebar was bolted to. The right side is fine but the left side, the steel gave way and tore away and is a bit mangled and deformed. It's not the silver/metallic part of the suspension but the black steel that goes over the suspension arms.

Did I damage my suspension? Can I get this fixed?

Ahhh I do such stupid things.....:-(

you can either weld in a new support piece or replace the entire thing. no biggie as it's seperate from the actual body of the car.

Sure it can be fixed but you should take that to a qualified automotive welding shop as soon as possible. That section is boxed to provide support for the lower suspension mount. You have destroyed that support. Don't wait for a serious failure to occur.

that's just a part where you lift up the car.

you'll need that, so you should get it fixed and get it fixed right.

how did that happen?

hmm, was alcohol involved???
That does suck bro, but its surely repairable.
Do you have an auto body shop near year you that you trust?
Or try to find that part from a rear ended evo on the for sale pages.

nah no alcohol was involved just some poor decision making on my part and being impatient. Do you think I should take this to the dealer or just bring it to some collision repair shop like True2Form?

lol watch their solution being to replace the entire car with a new 05 MR. Alright so I guess I'll have to take it to a body shop for an estimate. So any shop shall do?

a good shop with a good welder. make sure they do it right the first time. and after that I guess you could spray some anti-rust black paint on it to keep the welding lines from rust.
