the impala is 220 hp i believe to the crank, and im not sure about the monte carlo, but if theyre both stock, youll take em with good gear shifting, however, i highly doubt that theyre stock, no one is that stupid to challenge an evo with those cars if theyre stock, watch out for spray, those american big blockers love the spray, if youre gonna race em, make sure theyre stock, maybe watch em race someone else, but be wary of that too, because they might go slow on purpose, basically, when it comes to streetracing, remember, everyone is a hustler, so you gotta keep your eyes open and be on the ball, ask to check under the hood or something, but make sure theyre stock

Saw one at the track Wednesday and it was running mid 15s. He needs a bunch of mods to get to 12s.

A lingenfelter Impala SS would give you a good run. A stock impala is your bee-otch along with the monte carlo, without a question. They're both ~15sec 1/4 cars.

the guy with the monte shouldnt be talking unless hes so dilusional that he thinks that the ones driving the nascar circuit are just like his, and the impala is an abosolute big unless its been modified. i think it was already mentioned but it has the old vette engine in it so there is a lot of room for improvement. but if these guys are stock youre golden. fck it, race them in reverse haha.
