road debris hit front bumper
last night while driving on I-75 some sort of road debris hit my front bumper. i didnt think anything of it cause it didnt sound to loud or anything, and my car just ran it over. this morning i go to look out the window at my car and i see the front stock lip is hanging off somewhat. as i checked seems like the clips broke also. would their be any way to remedy this without buying a new one?

hmmm, would an aftermarket carbon fiber lip just be put on top of it? or it replaces it whole? if so i might just buy one in a lil bit. but for now i have to try to fix that because i have to drive the car alot.

Same thing happened to me on I-75 up here in Michigan. It was like 2am and I was driving and a semi truck next to me had a blowout. The steel belted radial and whole tire came flying at my car and I ran it over. It scratched my lip and rear bumper. Luckily most of it rubbed out and the rest is covered up with touch up paint and you can't even tell it happened. But, at first I thought I hit a dog or something cause I was merging and looking back cause there was a bunch of semi's in a row I was trying to merge into. =/ That sux man, I hope you can get it fixed. Try the industrial strength double sided tape, or a 3m adhesive equally strong.

Same happened here.. on I-75 as well. I used a small bolt and nut, drilled through the whole assembly, and bolted it on. From the outside you can't really tell (black car, black bolt), but it's held very well since. I also removed the outer corner "plastic, screw, rivet things" that hold the underbody plastic on, and replaced them with bolts. The whole thing is solid now.
