Oil consumption question

I think this has nothing to do with break-in. There is something leaking on your car.
We require synthetic oil, which does not burn like dino oil (fellow rotary engine owners can attest to that).
Either you're leaking somewhere, or it's going into your exhaust as residue. Get it checked out ASAP.
I have 50k on my Evo, all oil has been accounted for. I've used nothing but Mobil 1, and I broke my car in like a banshee....
200 miles/quart??!?!?!! My grandma's Olds Delta 88 doesn't even use that much...and it has blown rings
