I wouldn't get overly excited about that video.
Because the Lambo driver was one of the project managers for the FQ400.
So i'm wondering if he held back so to no show up the FQ400.

Is it just me or does everybody not know that the lap done by Stig in the FQ, 1m24.8s, is more than a second SLOWER than the Murcielago's time of 1m23.7s?
Same driver, 2 cars, 2 clear results. THAT should be the yardstick*. IMHO.
*yardstick in terms of "which is faster around the Top Gear track"

In a straight line I would guess that many cars keep up or even take the Evo - perhaps even a Caddy SUV or F150 depending on the starting speed. Ahh, but when the first corner comes.....see ya. My driving instructor drove my Evo and said that it just has soooo much grip (compared to his new M3). Anyone who hasn't done so yet, the Evo can do some amazing things on the track - the sensation is unbelievable. Sign up now :-)!

I don't mean to bash you, it's just that it is very common to get "carried away". Until we try one, I think we shouldn't dismiss the car so easily.
YES I own an Evo.
YES I think it's a great car.
YES I have taken it to the track many times, it's miles better than the STi.
But until I get to drive a supercar on the track, I wouldn't be so quick to say that the Evo would be quicker around the corner than a Murcielago.
For the doubters, go download a recent Fifth Gear shootout comparing the FQ-400 and the Noble M400. The humble Noble made the FQ look like a boat. Evo is great, but it's not the be-all-end-all in terms of dry grip track handling.

This video is awsome and yes it never gets old, I love how the british guy complains about turbo lag, lol. The car jerking on him was hilarious(reminded me of when I let my GF drive the EVO, lol)

From Edmunds:
"With 425 horsepower motivating only 2,484 pounds and enough mechanical grip to embarrass most supercars, the 2007 Noble M400 has laid waste to the record books at Inside Line like the Terminator tearing through a cop-filled doughnut shop.
Our testing equipment has definitely had a hard lesson in Newtonian physics. The Noble hit 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds, then streaked through the quarter-mile in 11.4 seconds at almost 120 mph. This makes it the quickest car we've ever tested, leaving behind the Corvette Z06, Ford GT and Porsche 911 Turbo.
The M400 also slices through the slalom at 79.4 mph, nearly 4 mph faster than the previous record-holder, the poised Porsche 911 GT3. The Noble also rips up the skid pad at 1.05g, breaking another standard previously set by the 911 GT3."
