I was also thinking about having a clear bra put on my WW. To be honest Im a little less anxious to get it done after hearing about the yellowing, but I dont think thats gnna stop me. I would rather have small hard to notice spots then chips etc. I was told by a guy that does installs that the 3m gets yellow bubbles or spots when hit by rocks. He recommended the ventureshield, but from what Im hearing thats not perfect either. $750 is alot, I was quoted ~500 for a single car

I must say eventhough mine is yellow it is still better than rock chips. Mine is coming up on 2 years old now. It hasnt gotten any worse over the past year, but is still there for sure. I tried the whole hot water bit to open the pores and cleaned it really well but that didn't seem to help any. The simple fact of the matter is our cars are white and discoloration will show. Wish there was another explanation, but i don't think there is.

The reason it looks yellow is because of the adhesive, not the clearcoat on top. The film looks best on metallic paint because it defracts the sunlight, which allows it to blend in. It only looks yellow on FLAT white paint. If our WW had a pearl or metallic in it, you wouldn't even see it!! But as someone said before, noone even notices it unless I point it out.
FYI-I use a clay bar to get bug guts off the film. Works for me!!
