Hey don't flame me for asking-- I haven't been around in a while. There are a few 05 EVOS with the leather/sunroof pkg that have been sitting at my local dealer for months. I don't think they are selling these models too well -- enthusiasts don't want the extra pounds (what does all that stuff weigh BTW?) They also just got in some new '05s w/o the sunroof pkg.

It might be nice to finally get one. I am still on the fence though. If there are screamin' deals to be had that might do it. I am so ready for a new daily driver and that's what the EVO would be.

thanks.... I read on Edmunds that there is $500 dealer "trunk money" on EVOs until August 1st. Is it insane to think I could get invoice minus the $500 ?
The last car I bought was my Z06 and I got about $11K off sticker (one of the last '04s) I got my Civic for $1200 under invoice. I am a sucker for a deal!!

 

Many have claimed far below invoice...more than $500.

the website said there is a $500 manufacturer to dealer incentive. there's also a $500 incentive for current mitsu owners..



I'm thinking $29K would be a decent price but I haven't been paying attention to the market... some friends of mine told me that dealers seemed more desperate to sell the sunroof/leather models... they told me a dealer offered to take $6000 off but that was last year... that sounds crazy. But with a sticker of $34,400 I suppose $28,400 might be within reason...

but the 500 loyality rebate has been around for some time.

i tried to pm you some info, but you are not accepting any of that ....

 

It's a kickback, meaning the dealer still gets paid even if he sells for invoice...or lower probably.
