I would go all power myself. I think the Evo is a nice looking car to start with. You could have a beast with $7000. At least get a TBE, Boost controller, standalone or re-flash, Cams, injectors, and a turbo upgrade. You should have $10.00 left for the bling, bling .

Heck, with 7 grand you can do both cosmetic and power. Just spend your money wisely and shop around for stuff you like.

Same the 7k and invest it. Leave the EVO alone, it is fine stock and the money could more than likely be used in much wiser ways.

That is true, but you have to enjoy life too, and as long as you are in your own home, saving 10% for retirement, and have 3 months of emergency funds go ahead and blow the 7k your already ahead of the game.

With $7,000, I agree you can get both show and go. Drop some money on a staged upgrade package, at least, from Buschur or Vishnu, get a reflash from Al, then show mods. Yes the Evo stock is quick, but not quick enough. No use having a sick looking car with nothing under the hood

yeah and then you get laughed at because a guy with an RS (no offense RS owners) whoops your a$$. I agree with everyone saying both. Lean more towards power but you can do alot with 7K. 1500 bucks can get you 350 whp or so if done right. so 3 or 4 could mean 400whp or more. 3k in looks is a lot. Inevitably its up to you. but this is what I would do.
