Changing my Trans Fluid with BG Synchroshift

i m going to change my transmission oil with BG Synchroshift, though that this might help making shifting smoother. would this cause any problem? i m sticking with OEM stuff for the transfer case and the rear differential, cause i have heard people having peoblems after changing to different oil, specially Redline.

I changed my fluid with BG Syncroshift and the shifting somewhat improved...
My car has 5,000 miles on it.
I think its safe.....

Im running the same exact fluids you are. BG in the tranny and OEM Diaqueen in transfer case and rear diff. Not one complaint here, except when it is really cold outside car is hard to get into gear until its warmed up. Other than that the car shifts much better all around.

I changed out the OEM fluid and put in the BG at around 200 miles. Car only has 5700 miles on it now. Not one problem yet. You will definitely notice a difference on how the car shifts once u change it out.

I use 2 BG's and 1 Redline light weight.

18,000 on it. Best shift feel with added protection.

Stock fluids on diff and transfer.

The master service tech said that if you want the EVO tranny to last then to use the Mitsu fluid.

I put BG in and had 0 problems for around 15,000 miles. I would recommend sticking to OEM fluids for the transfer and rear diff.

Here is a pic of the drain/fill bolts on the rear diff just in case you need it in the future.

I am both sides on this issue, although I will say that if the master tech at the dealer my EVO is currently getting a new trans recommmends something then you bette rlisten. He is one of 12 master techs in the US. He knows his EVO's. The two things he said to keep your EVO tranny in best of shape for a long time was:
1. OEM fluid change every 15k
2. Do not do 5-7k RPM clutch drops all of the time

I can avoid at least one of those The P/N should be available at any dealership.

I race and have changed all my fluids after research

I also run the BG synchro shift!!!! Total thumbs up on this stuff. Racing at Texas World Speedway in 110 heat for 30 minute sessions tested all the higher end temps on my car in every category. Everything held up great! I am still running it 300 miles later but plan to change it soon before my next race.

I am also running Red Line Heavy Duty shock proof in transfer case and another Redline in the rear. If your not racing in the heat, then your probably okay, but for those who do auto-x or race, then the higher fluids offer higher end protection I think.
