install price for 272's.....too much?

install price for 272's.....too much?

just called a shop that is 2 1/2 hours away from here that works solely on wrx's

and evo's. they want $480 to install my 272's (cams that is). let me know what

ya'll think. too much or sound about right?

That price is insane. Check out the diy on evom. I would check out Dyno4mance in GA or maybe some of local evo members can give you a hand.

I would also get some head studs and a fuel pump.

250 should be around average.

You think that is bad I was quoted $1050 by a local shop to do cams and head stud install.

I wouldn't pay over $250 for heads and cams

Funny, i just called a place yesterday that quoted me 425 labor plus i had to by the seals. F'in crazy, guess i wont be shopping there!

i believe pruven charges 400 which is insane to me but I mean its the only shop I would trust to do it so you gotta take what you can get as long as its not TOO unreasonable

i got quoted $150 from a local evolution specialist shop here in anaheim
