That being said, I believe the majority of the kits out there as well as the stock pipes use a straight section on the turbo outlet. In fact it isn't much different from stock at that piece - just a bit larger and longer. I'm very sorry about all the problems though, if you want to send it back you still can, I'll get you a new piece from Helix asap.

Thanks,

Every thing other than "the turbo outlet (black pipe)," is fine.....i just never could get that peice fixed.....my last attempt was putting permatex "the right stuff" around the brass nipple area.

VERY dissapointed in this product. First it was missing the silicon coupler to the throttle body so I had to find one like it that fit, which cost me $55 for overnight shipping since I need my car for work. With the stock battery in the pipes barely fit together and the connecting sleeves aren't long enough. I complained to the company I purchased it from and Gruppe-s which is the main distributor. I never got any response back from Gruppe-s. I would say I have had them blow off in different area's probably 3 times. Oh, and I bought the best T-bolts I could find so it isn't the clamps.

The starter prevents you from accessing the second bolt directly so do yourself a favor and drop the starter...

Remove the two 14 mm bolts, one faces the passenger side, one faces the driver's side and they're both painted orange (they were on my '04). Then you can slide the starter off and it's super-easy to get that other bolt.

The Helix pipe kit was a disappointment for me as was Gruppe-S's service. All of the Helix IC Pipe descriptions indicate that they come with T-bolt clamps...my kit was shipped from Gruppe-S (Through CVR) with no clamps and multiple calls to Gruppe-S went unanswered/unreturned.

CVR credited me $25 back but the best price available for clamps is over $40...more than the money, the whole ordeal was a PITA that caused me a 2 week delay in installing the parts between waiting to hear from Gruppe-S/CVR (eventually Gruppe-S indicated that the kit no longer shipped with T-bolt clamps)

i gave Gruppe-s the benefit of the doubt when i went through them. i appreciate the pricing, but thats not enough to keep me coming back. i took a month for me to get my brake pads, sway bar, and I/C piping (ordered all at once.). then it was only in black piping and it all finally got here after forever (including 2 track days and a dyno day that i needed/wanted it for) on top of that helix itself sends no "directions", clamps, and the construction itself was very poor, the welding was horrible, and the design was poor too.
