Well didn't get the video tweaked so its alittle dark out at the track... but here's the gist: 8.1 @ 88mph.. the GT mustang... got a 3 second head start.. enjoy

What do I think? I think it speaks VOLUMES about the validity of any dyno numbers quoted from the Aerocomp Mustang Dyno.

Good job, you matched my 1/8th-mile mph but were 3/10 slower. You can improve the driving with practice I'm sure, but you won't find another 70whp buried in there I don't think.

Well, Jeff, follow the link. Do you believe he's making 393 whp? I certainly don't, since he barely matched my 1/8th-mile mph. Additionally, this guy's well-known for misrepresenting himself on the local Jax board. How do I know? Some guys dislike him so much, they IM'd me via AIM just because they saw I didn't believe his dyno thread.

Btw, here is what I wrote in response to his huge dyno claim:

"Secondly, you need to go run 117-118 in the 1/4-mile on straight pump to validate the 375claim...then run 119 or so on the meth to validate the 393 claim. If you do that, then we know it's legit, but with those mods, it's not likely..."

We now have our proof...

Yeah something is not adding up 393whp(mustang dyno !! ) and 88mph in the 1/8 . So i guess i could pump out 400+on that dyno ? Buschur RS did 340ish on his mustang dyno and trapped 120mph in the 1/4 . Btw not dissing your run , just 393whp is hard to understand ?.

As he failed to mention in the other thread, that Aerocomp dyno has been recalibrated to read like a Dynojet, but the problem is that it goes WAY OVERBOARD and inflates the numbers even beyond a Dynojet, but all of their customers run around bragging about these huge dyno numbers that I spend half my day trying to refute. It's amazing that they REALLY BELIEVE these numbers, and when they can't back it up at the track, they blame the track itself...

2mph? Don't count on it...his run wasn't bad. HE didn't bog, but maybe spun some, and you know that spinning doesn't lower your MPH...in fact, it usually raises it. With a nice short time, he may even lose mph. You know how that works.

I don't know the board, because when the guy IM'd me and showed me the long thread where this guy got caught making bogus claims, I wasn't able to read it due to not being a registered member.

Big event in Jackson, SC? Why there? That's way too far for me, but isn't that far for you, too? I didn't even know there was a Jackson, SC.

The infamous Aerocomp Mustang dyno is in Orlando. You will likely dyno 450whp there...

Jackson, SC is home to one of the nicest tracks in the area. Carolina Dragway i think its called.

And yeah, i figured that was about half way between us, LOL. maybe a little closer to me.

And i was talking about shifting and such on the run(i didn't watch the vid, so i was just guessing).

Is this the same dyno that the Rivera boys made almost 500whp on the stock turbo on?

and if anyone else knows, whats the local Jax forum?

Yes, it is, but it was not true. Not that they aren't incredible tuners/drivers, but that was just over the top, and they knew better, but some other little guy posted it, not them. That same little guy claimed 357whp off a 4th gear pull (5spd) on that dyno with only tbe/mbc/intake/flash, but eventually got bashed into only claiming his 3rd gear pull, which was 307whp (much more realistic).

HAHAHA,
This is soo funny but it is true. i read the whole thread about Jesus little brothers car making all that power. Then Evil EVO posted claiming 357whp. The Aerocomp dyno definitely reads WAY off... Soem guys claiming maing 375whp with hardly any mods.

Warralton is the man for posting this type of bs stuff out .
