In general terms, I agree that most would take advantage of the 0% and invest the money in somewhere else since a car is not consider an investment. However, if one has enough money where they don't have to worry about much of it, it will make sense to them to just pay it off and not bother having payments every month. Afterall, for example...if you borrowed $10 from a friend and your friend said you can pay him in payments for 5 years at 0%, I know I would be like...F it, I don't want to bother with the payments, I'll just give you your $10 next week!!! So maybe $30k to him is like $10 to us?!??! My point is, if I had the money, I probably wouldn't give a crap about $30k....but unfortunately I am not rich so I do have to care. Anyways, just my opinion and no one elses.

30k to him is not like 10 to us. If so, he wouldn't be chatting on a EVO forum...he would be breaking the law in his carrera GT.
It takes A LOT of money not to care about 30k. MOST people are rich because they don't make such stupid mistakes/decisions and invest wisely. And btw, its not a PITA to make monthly payments, everything on earth is automatic now...you can have it drafted out of your checking account and never write a check or see a payment book.
