I used to think the wingless didn't look right but now I like it in red.

It will be faster to 60 mph and in the quarter mile without it. That's a big wing and creates a lot of drag. That's one reason the RA is a faster car.
I haven't gone any faster in my evo then 110, and that was at the drag strip, does that mean I should have gotten a mazda 6 too?

back to the subject. the wing. I rather call it a spoiler becuase it actually serves a purpose, i start feeling the difference at high speeds 115+, i have gone over 140 and let me tell you this that "wing"/spoiler is worth it. its way better than the Sti spoiler, ours is lighter and the cross blade is slimmer. at high speeds wind cuts through there easily creating downforce and helps the car to stick to the road. During turns, our spoiler is phenominal. The thing that creates the most drag on our car is our rear bumper, it would help if swapped with JDM evo IV bumper or APR rear diffuser.

Ahh I should rephrase what I meant to say last night before I get flammed even more. I dont drive over 100mph for long periods often because its not easy to do so in Chicago safely! So with the wing off, it should not bother me so much, as opposed to those who drives like a maniac because they have an evo or mazda 6.
Anyways I saw a post of a member that mounted a m3 winglet cut to fit the evo trunklid, Im hoping you can post your experience with the winglet. I'm definitely going to use my evo wing/trunk on trackdays, I hope it wont be a lot of work swapping back and forth.

Since you are driving in chicago, evo wing is not going to make much difference in your driving when you are under 90mph. For me i like the wingless evos too, they look hella sick especially when they are lowered.
