people have already debated if a full 3" or a 2.75" exhaust is better, pull it up i dont remember what people said. my knowledge is a smaller diameter exhaust will give more torque based upon the backpressure of the air.

If I am right, I understood that the HKS DP is 2.75" and the catback was 2.95" which is basically 3".

2.75 is more than enough with the stock turbo, you might even pick up a little torque. If you upgrade yout turbo past, say, a TME then you will need a 3".

I have both the hks downpipe and hks 30th anniversary catback with a works high flow cat. This is a great setup for the stock turbo. Some will say that a full three inch system is optimal, but ours is just fine. Unless you're trying to make a 600hp beast then I wouldn't worry about it.

the HKS exhaust is litterally a few hairs smaller than 3". I stayed away from the dp and went with the DC Sports because the HKS dp is 2.75" from what I understand. But if you feel a difference when you drive it then you are good to go for now at least. I know I FELT a difference when I put my TBE on. Can't wait till I get a tune now.
