don't they record mileage on the computer everytime you bring it in? to burn off 1/4 of a tank takes a lot of mileage, especially in an hour. what was the mileage when you brought the car in and what was it when you got it back. you should also see it on your service receipt.

you did not get that big yellow paper that says that they looked at the problem and it was fixed? even if it was a warrantied service and cost you nothing they should give it to you anyways. it should have odometer reading on it.

try calling the service department and ask a copy of the receipt. i am sure it was entered into the system that you came in with a issue with your car.

I don't know if that applies...as he went in and they said they didn't find the problem....

So I don't think they would bother with a receipt if they looked at the car, and said that there was no problem with it. Even more so, if they messed up the car real bad!

Dude...raise hell... threaten to make a scene while some costumers are checking out cars at the dealership. Believe me, they'll give in, if you're persistent enough. If I had a dealership, I wouldn't want anyone having an argument while some costumers are closing deals, or negotiating.

really, i was not aware of that. just speaking from personal experience, my dealership always gives the receipt if I bring my car for whatever reason.

yeah, if you raise havoc there, they would give-in. be persistent.

I brought my car in for a EVO CLUNK NOISE and they could not find it and the dealership gave me a yellow sheet saying what i described and well they couldnt find it. So i was pissed and brought it to another dealership and the same thing. I know everytime they have your car they have to document it!

If they dont want to do anything act like you are wanting to trade on a new one. Then go out in it on the test drive and beat the living **** out of it with the salesman in the car. Then walk away.....

Well...if they're supposed to give you a yellow sheet documenting your visit, then I guess you can also use that to your advantage, while confronting the dealership. Kinda shows the shady practices that this dealership employs while servicing their costumer's cars...
