I was driving my friends 05 evo and after high rpm's i took i tout of gear to slow down but the rpm's weren't, but it was like it was in gear, and i pushed in the clutch and the rpm's went back down. Then like 2 weeks later i was driving my 05 evo and the same thing happend, i shook the stick around, and nothing happend, i pushed in the clutch and the rpm's went back down. It happend again so i shook the stick, nothing, so i slowed down pretty fast to see if the rpm's went down with it, and it did. what's goin on with it?

 

guessin your throtle cable is stickin..

 

My rpms only stick (or slowly drop) when I have the 5k limiter disconnected...not sure if you did that to yours or not.
