Intercooler spray

I notice my intercooler spray wasn't working so i removed my front bumper to check the water line. turn out it was clouge. So i just pitch the line and it works fine now. I have an idea of how it got that way i was ussing faucet water. Any advances on what to use to prevent this again? I was think like 90% drinking water and 10% alchol. What are u guys using to prevent your water line from clouging?

I was under the impression you used washerfluid for the sprayer. Tap water usually has minerals in it which can create deposits, you might want to try distilled water if you want to keep using your mixture.

Did they eliminate that feature from the 2005? I asked the dealer about it, because I thought I saw it on the 2003 and they acted like I was crazy.

its ok to use water during summer months but they are right.. only use washer fluid during freezing weather. It will screw up the system if it freezes. Make sure you use up all the water before putting in washer fluid

They did eliminate it. Pretty much they figured it wasnt doing much good so they took it out. Your not really losing much but a cool feature. It'll help a LIL bit if your doing beat runs at the track or something, but nothing enough to put it in for 05+

I'd just use it to spray pedestrians/other cars if I had it.

Actually, they got rid of it because there wasn't enough room for it with the ACD. The ACD fluid reservoir is where the intercooler sprayer reservoir was.
