HKS Silencer

I have the RNR carbon ti, and bought the hks silencer thats suppose to fit the carbon ti muffler.

After installing the silencer and tightening the hex bolt to the muffler tip(one of the two holes), it started rattling like crazy when I started up the car. Anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

the only thing that i can think of is that its too small and your exhaust is bigger than it. Usually you should have one that scrapes on the exhaust allowing it to go in.

i kno this problem, i had a cheap exhaust on my first car and it came with a silencer and same thing happened...its cuz ur silencer is too small for ur exhaust. What i did...ghetto fix was i wrapped the edge of the silencer (the part that contacts the tip of the muffler) with duct tape haha. It melted onto the exhaust tho so wouldnt suggest it.
