That's impossible, an urban myth, there is no such thing as a real cool car dealer . Just kiddin', really nice deal you got there and congrats on the new purchase.

Well the dealership is known for doing bussiness with a shop called radical ride which is next door. You can get mods there and the will install them for you. I have heard from various customers that they have gotten warranty with aftermarket clutches, turbos etc... Im sure i wont have a problem

My mods are:
TBE
Test pipe
mbc
flash
Tein springs
Turbo timer

You're right, there's no such thing as a cool dealer! I was looking at the same EB at Daytona about 2 weeks ago but I backed out because of the way they did business. See my thread here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=154289

It's a shame because their finance guy was really nice and I liked the fact that they were willing to do an HID conversion on it for only $700. But they took advantage of the fact that my credit isn't great and quoted me $33800 OTD for a non/SSL EB. I finally went with a TB w/SSL from Gainesville for $34750 OTD.

Anyway, congratulations on your purchase, I'm glad you got a better deal than they were offering me.

This can't be true. The dealer can get in a sh1tload of trouble for taking off the cat in your car and installing a test pipe. Its a federal offense to mess with cats on a car, so I don't see this dealer of yours being willing to change that over. All the other mods maybe, but I don't believe it on the test pipe.

I'd believe they would do the test pipe. I know my dealership would. (Southgate, MI) I don't have an evo, but a regular lancer. They love all my mods I've done so far and still honor my warranty. They said if I ever need something put on by them, just to bring it in and they'd do it. They like me though alot there.. They had the first evo 8 at Hot Import Nights back at the Detroit show. I hooked them up with merchant/vendor passes and they brought their new pre-production evo there to the show and won some awards with it. Now they love me.. They gave me $3k off my lancer oz (back in '03) and 0% financing, and gave my brother his brand new ralliart for $16k even with tons of extras.

Congratulations! But, . . . . I gotta ask why would you trade in a 2 year old car for the same model? What is the advantage/purpose/point?
