I was told on Monday that black units are being anodized right then and will be re-assembled and I should have them in a weeks time. That would put delivery to me on a regular weekly shipment next Tuesday (I hope).
Miguel, diffinetly swing by the shop sometime soon. I want to use your car for the boost controller install writeup.

That depends entirely upon what your goals are.
Boost controlling flashes typically provide one predetermined boost setting that cannot be changed without adjusting the perameters built into the programming, and many people either don't want to get into that themselves, or they don't have the ability to do so.
With a separate boost controller, you have the ability to turn the boost up or down to your liking whenever you want without having to adjust any perameters within the programming of the car.

A few days ago I started getting boost spike and fuel cut with the Forge Unos MBC. I've had it installed for about a month before I started experiencing the problem. I also just installed a DP and test pipe last weekend. Naturally, I checked to make sure all line are secured. All the vacuum lines was still connected. I assumed that maybe the new mods might be causing the mbc to spike so I turned it all the way down and went for a test drive. I was still getting spikes and fuel cut so I went back home to check again. Upon closer inspection of the MBC, I found that it was missing one of the allen bolt on the bottom. I didnt change the spring inside so I had never taken it apart since I received it. I know though that the bolt was there when I received the mbc. So I went down to the local hardware store a bought a 4x35 mm allen bolt to replace the missing one. I also picked up some lock washers to keep the bolt from backing out again. I have had no problem since then. I have followed this thread since the beginning and I don't think anyone has experienced the same problem as I did. I guess just a precaution put a lock washer or Loctite the bolts under the MBC to prevent them from backing out. hopefully this is just an isolated incident other than that I am fully satisfied with this unit.
