It only seems blinding if you get on your knees and lower your eye level to like 3-4 feet off the ground. i think people in cars sit at a higher eye-level...but even so, it looks good.

Yeah, there was a time when I used regular blue buls as well on my old Integra...
but they dont compare to HID's. But get what you can afford, not knocking you...
The plugs should be fine.
The projector housing has a convex lens... EVO low beams are projectors, SRT4 low-beams are reflector type housings

PM Ryan sn darksyderacing on the SRT forums, he'll help ya with your questions...
if your lancer has the regular reflector light housing then get the
kit with the D2R bulbs.....and your choice of temp rating, 4300-12000K
and whether you want a regular 35 watt HID kit or spend the extra $100 like it did for the VHO (high output) 50 watt HID Kit like i have...
