watered down 93 in Maryland
I filled up yesterday with what I thought was 93 from BP in towson. After I got gas, I noticed on my wideband that something wasn't right. So I stayed out of boost last night untill I could get tho the shop I work at this morning. I hooked the OBDII scaner up and did a 3rd gear pull. My car is pulling like 10 degrees of timing because of some ****ty gas. So the gas stations are now selling watered down gas. So now I need to go put some octain booster in untill the tank has enough room to put some race gas in it. Just wanted to give peeps a heads up. It could have cost me a motor if it wasn't for my wideband.

nice heads up to people around there. its pathetic that someone would try to scam a few bucks like that and espeically when gas prices are so out of control. id go back to the station and tell them you know and see what they say about that

report that one for sure. i have seen way too many stations trying to rip people off with price (that's easy to spot) but i bet there are plenty trying to rip them off by selling lower grades as premium and such.
