I am sure this has been beaten to death, but now me and my wife are on the same wave length as the rest of the vandalized Evo owners. Now Ours is not as bad as some of the other cases that have been posted on here, but nonetheless. We had our rear badges stripped last night. My Evolution VIII badge and her mitsu symbol badge. Both Trunks are now scratched to high hell and for what???? some stupid badges. If you need and want them that bad, I will buy them for you. If I find out who did it, cause they have to know who we are and where we live, I will tear their heart out with my bare hands.

So if anyone hear's a little birdie who told a story about ripping off some badges please PM me, and I will personally pay you for that information. Did it right in front of our apt complex and it had to be like 3am cause we went to bed around 1:00am.

If I catch them, I have now idea what will happen.

noooo smokey!! sorry this had to happen to you and your wife's cars - they're very nice. besides the stolen badges and the scratched trunk did anything else get damaged or stolen? its weird if that's the only thing they wanted and took.. possibly its a bunch of young prepubescent kids trying to get a gift for a friend? If you see any new evos around the area you're not familiar with with the uk badges, those are the people you should inquire about and interrogate until they give in. how bad is the trunk, pix?

 

Why steal emblems? Unless you take your time they fall apart. I had someone steall my a-frame ladder and my 3 ton Craftsman jack from my garage while my car was on jack stands! Oh well. Best of luck to ya!

 

that suck, sorry dude. Not to be a dick or anything, but why doesn't everyone have a garage. Most EVO vandlizations happen at night, in front of the owners house (cept for the kid that left his EVO on a back road cuz it ran out of gas; damn, that was the worst one I saw yet). Anyways, I've always made sure I had a garage, even back when I had the S/C Civic cuz kids in Chico will jack a S/C Civic before they **** with the EVO (mostly cuz their all Honda/Acura heads and don't really know how to steal an EVO, or sale the parts).

I would have a garage but I live in an apartment complex that charges $100/month for a one car garage. Plus the garages are about a block from my complex. But believe me. I will be geting a garage now. Damn the money. If they are going to rip off the badges...what is next.

I know it's stupid. Cause it's just badges, but it's the principals, and now the fact that the trunk is scratched is going to cost a pretty penny to have it repainted. It's not horrendous, but if you are as **** retentive as I am, you will understand. Plus I will be adding more things, to the car and I will damned if someone does it again. I will pay the money for the garage just to know that it is safe.

I think I was just venting cause I was so pissed off. I will claim it through insurance and I will either get it repainted or a different trunk.
