TEIN S-Tech springs..
ok, i was just wondering, for those of you that have the springs:
how much more harsh is the ride?
can you get over speed bumps the same? or do you have to go really really slow and sideways?
last question, how much do new shocks cost from mitsubishi since there arent any aftermarket ones out?

They are great! Just slightly stiffer spring rates for a perfect ride/handling combination. Perfect drop (no fender gap front or rear), no problems, love them!

IMHO they are waste of money. They offer nothing but better looks. You will not handle better, your nose will scrape off, and then your shocks will blow. These springs SLAM your already nose heavy car lower and these springs are BARELY stronger then the stock units so your car will handle like a water bed and you will lose any balance your car once had. They really arn't performance orientated.
This was my experience, I have full coilovers now, there is no comparison.
If you MUST get springs, get Rallyart. .5/.5 drop and and are VERY stiff and actually increase handling. The Next I would suggest are Eibach at 1 inch and 1 inch.
Spend your money on an alignment and a rear sway bar and you'll out handle ANY set of springs.

I have them and have not noticed any negative effects on handling. If anything, they help decrease body roll and give you a bit more stiff suspension. They work great for autox. I think the ride is comparable to stock.

i have them and i agree with the people that say they like them. i keep hearing how they mess up your shocks but i have had mine on my car for over 15,000 miles and i have no problem with them. maybe i just havent reached that point yet

i got them and really they are not much harsher than stock, plus they do look good , maybe a little too low if u want to add a chin spoiler while rolling on the stock 17 inch wheels but if u upgrade to 18" wheels probably wont be a problem
