You have to do something. IMO get it flushed and filled with the right fluid. If it still is acting up then go to mitsu. The mechanic will be able to tell its new transfer case fluid. if they care is a different story...

il tell them that it was service a 1-2k miles ago? idk...so the fluid still looks new?

Why didn't you look to see what people on here were using? In general there are alot of people on here who know the Evo better than most Mitsu. techs ever will. Or look in your owners manual.

Sorry about your TC though. It sucks that they gave you bad info.

that might work.. but i dont know about the mitsu dealer but most dealer mechanics keep track of when belts and fluids were changed for warranty purposes. some places even scribe dates or mileage on different places under the hood or on the engine. i know toyota does this.

just take it one step at a time. get the fluid flushed and filled and then work your way from there. even if your tc takes a dump in like a month you might be able to get it fixed under warranty.

nope...i called different dealerships to ask about my record and they didnt record anything about the fix on my misfires or any past things iv done through mitsubishi...

i did and they said to use mitsubishi lsd oil...so i called all the dealerships and they told me they dont have any diaqueen in stock...THEN they told me that 80-90 is the same thing and it will work just fine...but it didnt...so im screwed...
