First mods for new EVO?
Hopefully picking up my new EVO Wed and wanted to start ordering some engine parts. I am already ordering the Megan coilovers, but what is the next important thing to add/replace? Exhaust, Blow off valve, turbo timer, etc

Turbo back exhaust, Manual or Electric boost controler, ECU flash, panel air filter. Those are the standard basics. After that, to each his own. Save your money on the Megan coilovers, get a rear swaybar and end links for $300. The evo has wonderful suspension as is. If you do go coilovers, drop some cash, go Ohlins, Zeal, Moton. But that's me.

Damn, are you trading that sexy E46 for an EVO or just picking up another car?
first mod definitely wanna start with turboback exhuast, manual boost controller, intake or drop in and some kind of flash.
But drive your car for a while before you start mod it so you can get the feel of the mods. You'll be impressed.

drive it for a while then mod it. save the money on the suspension unless youre going to track it. the suspension is awesome as is. other than that the route i plan on taking is an exhaust drop in filter manual boost controller a flash a boost gauge and maybe cams down the line... besides the cams id say from what i have read that more or less the standard route people take.

In all honestly If its brand new... I wouldn't do anything that you could replace with the stock parts. Mitsu is a PITA when it comes to warranty work/parts. I would maybe get a boost gauge, Turbo Timer, K&N Drop-in filter, and a Cat-back (maybe turbo-back) exhaust. With those mods you would only need to put the stock exhaust on (Depends on your service manager) if you needed warranty work.

Ok first cancel your order for the Megan coilovers.
If you are interested in the car actually being able to turn, this is the only place to go: http://www.muellerized.com
As for performance, figure out how you are going to tune the thing. If you know absolutely nothing about modding cars (a reasonable assumption?) you would probably be best for an ECU flash. you will just have to send your ECU off to someone to retune it everytime you add a major part to your car.
Above all, just read the forums alot, and make your own decisions.
