on that note, if you've never ridden, take a motorcycle safety course before you even buy a bike. most people think they can hop on a bike and learn themselves. the techniques you learn in a safety course will save you from going down, and even help you to avoid other drivers' mistakes.

I appreciate all the input, maybe I wasn't explaining my pricing out right. I've seen quite a few 03's for around 5-6k here so i was gonna put 2-3k down for that, if I mod i would only be spending about 2k on the car because i'd probably take a little mini vacation with the remainder of the money i would have spent on the bike. Its still a really tough decision, i rode dirtbikes growing up and it was a blast kinda got the urge to ride again, i completely understand the whole danger part too though, and that kinda turns me off but i guess thats just the chance you take :/

first off what the hell kind of dad do u have that gives u 2 g's for evo mods or a new bike, damn can i call him daddy too. stay away from the bike, nothing but trouble, trust me. i mean look someone already posted a pic of the doing a wheelie, yeah looks safe.

i heard what gas prices were back in the states, made me think about a bike again. never had a bike, want to get one, but i think i would appreciate 4 wheels rather than 2....
