Expectations for Stage 3 upgrade

Just curious.

What should I expect after the installation of 272's, FMIC, Customer Flash.

Will I feel a pretty good increase in power? I assume so but wanted to get other people's experience with this stage in the process.

Thanks,

Currently Stage 2.

I don't know about the different stages, but a cammed and tuned evo will put a big on your face.

who determined what the "stages" were. They should be dragged, beaten, whipped, shot, hanged and disemboweled.

You talking about Buschur stages? The additions of cams (esp. 272s) will be felt most up top. I "raced" an Evo that had same mods as me (at the time) but he had cams and I didn't. We were virtually even through about 6000rpms and then he started pulling on me almost 2 cars to redline. He had the works 269s. I haven't done any extensive comparison testing with my 272s, but there are tons of charts and reviews here on this site. As far as the butt dyno, it may be psychological but the car "feels" much stronger up top. I'm hoping to knock at least 1/2 second off my "non-cammed" 1/4 mile time.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm really looking forward to the experience after this weeks installation!
