2005 EVO8 SSL Owners - Dash Question!!
I just picked up my new 2005 Evo8 with the SSL, upgrading from a 2003... I just saw these 3 holes in the dash when I got home.... these werent in the 2003 and I cant find any reference to them in the manual... i've searched and cant seem to find anything on them? Does every 2005 with SSL have them?

they come on a lot of new cars, I have no idea why some of them are for Nav systems for the microphone if you can talk to it, but that is not a option on the evo. I will see if I can find out at work on monday.

how about you guys go behind the dash and see whats hidden inside.. my guess its a camera and the dealer is spying on you guys and what you do. lol jk its for a microphone.

wow ok so its normal... atleast if i know its not some holes someone made I can breathe easy... so now to find out what it was meant for! hrmmm... interesting... i see how it could have been used for a Nav mic..

I thought it was for the chiming when your belt isn't on. . .it might be for regulating in cabin air pressure . . . .j/k, I have no ****ing clue, but I've seen them on other cars as well and assumed it was for temp regulation for cars with auto-climate features. . .so maybe it's a remnant from the JDM Evo's that do have auto climate control. . .
