Turbo timer

I am looking for some re-life reviews on turbo timers. I am getting ready to buy ine and can't tell which to go with . I don't need the full blown timer so i am either looking at buying the Greddy Full Auto or the HKS type 0. Any one have anything to say about these two ( or any other for that matter).

P.s. I plan on getting the harness for easy install.

re-life? Is that anything like "real life"?

The Blitz FATT DCII has been great for me. There really isn't much to basic turbo timer function, so find one with the options and price that you like best and go with it. Assuming everything's installed properly it's pretty hard to pick a "bad" TT. And yes, the harness is the only way to go.

i had both of the HKS timers...honestly i didnt even use the extra features on the type-1 so i jsut went with the 0 on my evo... HKS makes a harness for ease on installation...i highly recomend hks for a clean looking timer...i saw this dudes blitz turbo timer on his driver side A/C vent...now thats creative

Ya know i was thinking about the Apexi TT but it just looked so small anit looked like i might have a hard time reading the data so i was leaning toward the bulkier ones. So where have you all mounted yours ???

You guys don't rely on conventional gauges to give you your boost pressure and all that ? I would imagine that it would get a little confusing using your TT for multi-tasking functions . I think i would like the accessability of the gauges just because there is no toggleing between settings on your TT's ? Where are you guys stashing your TTs anyway ? I was thinking about on the steering column but then i thought it might get in the way when i steer ( i like to use my thumb through one spoke on the steering wheel) and didn't want to knock it around !

I just sold a Blitz TT with harness about a week ago... a week late..but oh well.

It was a good piece of electronic equipment. Sold it cause I'm thinking about going with a alarm with built-in TT features. But it was great cause the remote display made it stealthy and it didn't take up too much space.

I installed a US spec HKS Type 1 this weekend and so far I really like it. I mounted it on the top of the steering column. I think any name brand TT will basically do the same thing. I went with the type 1 mostly because of the US units. To tell you teh truth, I fussed about it for a while and finally just picked one.

Apexi for me and is a very clean install. Fits right next to the steering wheel on the dash and almost looks stock.
