after taking out my cat, it made bumper looked liked a burnt bbq around the tip of the exhaust. I had to get one especially on a white car. It will definitely show.

So, I got the exhaust heat shield today and it fits pretty flush against the back of the car, but then the parts that go underneath the car don't line up real well. Then if I line up the underside well, it doesn't fit flush.

Also, on the lancershop one, it came with 3 screws and 3 clips...are the clips supposed to go over the underside of the bumper AND the heat shield, or just one or the other? Also, where do you put the 3rd screw/clip? Up above the exhaust tip? Or is it extra?

My Buschur Magnaflow exhaust sticks out just far enough that I get no discoloring at all and no melting. With the stock exhaust, I was constantly trying to battle the exhaust discoloring the bumper. No drilling for me
