Holy SRT4 Blow Off Valve!!!

I looked at my buddies SRT with a stage 2 and toys (Toys? That's what they call it i guess). The BOV is connected straight to the turbo and is vented. It's so crazy loud! Sounds really strange and you can hear it from far far away.

whats elitest about saying which car is better?
so you're saying if a guy a skyline says his car is a better all around car than a civic then its elitest?
pfft, what ever. fact is fact. the end
when i see srt4 owners on the road that say hey to me i say the same to them and go about my day. i respect all drivers on the road.
the other day a guy in traffic merged with the highway i was on and went "whoa, holy ****, an evo!" at me. it was bumper to bumper so i could hear him loud and clear. i gave him a thumbs up and went back to my music.
calm down, jesus

I agree. I love the SRT for what it is. A cheap *** neon that'll rip straight from the show room, full factory warranty, and can whoop up on cars that cost more than double. If i couldn't afford to have my Evo, the SRT would have been my next choice. My girlfriend is still thinking about getting one, and i'm all for it.

same actually... kinda
my best friend hates his civic and wants something affordable, i've repped the srt4 to him alot since hes in that ball park range and wants something fast for the money (with a warranty)
for what you pay its a great car, but better is still better
on houston-imports, a site i read alot, one person with an srt4 said 99.99% of srt4 owners would have gotten an evo or sti if they could afford it.
so whats the problem?

It's all relative, folks.
The AMS Evo got beat in this year's One Lap of America by....you guessed it...an SRT-4. Oh, and the car plus all mods cost 30K or less....and I understand that all mods came straight out of the Mopar catalog.
We all choose the what we feel is the "best" car we can (or want to) afford. People are different. A car choice does not add nor subtract personal maturity or worth. For example...I spent a few years in the big C5 Corvette clubs. Talk about immature elitist mentality and looking down on anything non-Corvette...
The point is that self-worth, behavior and personality are not car related. Any car owner can act like an idiot...Ferrrari, Evo, SRT, Chevy truck...no difference. So can we just leave this as a friendly enthusiast rivalry? I say we let the "SRT vs Evo" track days speak for themselves...

lol
hello, evo can be a drag car but thats not what its for.
id like to see a full susspension built srt4 keep up with an evo on any course that requires more skill than drag racing (not that drag racing doesn't require skill, but on a course it requires MUCH more) which is what the evo is all about.
bang for buck, get a cobra if you want to go fast in a straight line, same with srt4
not evo though.
its a resiliant little bast@rd

I deff would have gotten an Evo if i had the money for it it. But hey, i love my SRT. My freind just bought a 2005 Silver Evo, man you guys drive some BAD *** cars, that ***** is ****in SICK. I love my car to death, but man you guys have in my opinion, the sickest looking car on the road. Its really weird tho having my best freind own a car, that so many feel is the Srt's sworn enemy. I mean i love and respect the hell out of the Evo, i hope you guys can feel the same. You guys have a GREAT car. Peace
