get Potenza RE-01R this thing makes the rain go away LOL ... try it yourself....
BTW Potenza is the number 1 tire choice in my opinion, RE-710 and S-02 used to be our first choice for R33 or FD3S and these cars without Potenza will smash every corner...... yes EVERY CORNER ......
Evoegg - I want GT-R but I got an Evo8

That sux, i've had my own experiances w/ Excta MX tires.....and they SUCK in All conditions... they push into corners, the traction sux in any other condition besides bone dry, and the tread almost wears as fast as the Advans.......

I ran the MX a while ... grip is not nearly as good as the Azenis RT215. Sidewalls are soft too. Perhaps they are a better tire in terms of overall value because last longer than Azenis and more comfy. I autocrossed and tracked on these and I do not like it at all. I'd get the Falken over these any day.
I really doubt your accident was because of the tires though. The Advans wouldn't handle any better in your situation.

Wow, you guys are picky.
For a $100 tire, the MX is a pretty good buy. Great hot traction for a street tire, meh wet traction and great tire life.
I say learn to drive your car before whining about how some tires MADE you slide your car into a curb.

First of all I drive just fine(grandfather used to race...got some very valuable lessons), and secondly I did not solely blame the tires. I think they contributed, but I do not blame them. To be honest, I was lucky to get around the other driver at all without a major accident. But thanks for your concern.
