The only thing that I could notice was that the ground wires made my headlights brighter. Other than that I could not notice any other differences. That alone was worth it to me because before that, it seemed like my lights projection ended 5 ft in front of the car.

what kind of grounding kit do you guys recommend, i looked for the diy instructions but could not find it? scoot what kind of kit do you have on your car? (blue box that glows)

I have a DIY kit on mine for about a year and a half now. Weather there are any horsepower gains, I did not notice. I do notice higher charging voltage and smoother idle (went away after cams were installed). Being an electronics guy, I have to say the wire guage for grounding the car was a bit small from the factory. If you are adding any electronics such as, amps, stereo,etc. It is definetly a good idea. I don't think that I would pay for a kit though. I actually made my kit with high grade 8ga marine wire and was able to determine exact lengths to keep it from looking cluttered in the engine compartment. This is an older picture, but the yellow wire you see is the kit.

the lineage kits are only 35$ that doesnt seem too bad. ttiscio i like your setup. i have a yellow evo w/ cfh, and wtb the works emotion cr, did you get 18's? those rims are hot.

ok, so i bought a ralliart kit from ebay for 6 bucks, put it on last night. dove my car this morning. the idle went up to 950-1000 rpm and does in fact idle smoother. i hit full boost and this is where the weird part is. i normally hit 22 psi and it'll taper to 21 psi. well this morning the boost starts going up normally, then when it hits 21 psi, i hear a loud whoosh sound with not really any loss in pull, but not any more in pull either, and the boost goes to 23.5 for a second and then settles back to 22 psi. anyone experience this?
btw - i have the vishnu xflash, no mbc so i can't adjust my boost down.
i hooked up the kit to my alternator, transmission, valve cover, OEM ground chassis point, headlight screw, intake manifold, and motor mount.
