The "quiet" CB exhaust thread
I know there are a lot of people like myself, especially in CA, looking to upgrade their Evo's exhaust system without touching the cat and/or sacrificing daily driveability by swapping in a loud setup. So for about a month I've been searching these boards and the rest of the interweb for the best, quietest, cleanest CB exhausts available for the Evo 8. Here's the list (in no particular order) that I've accumulated so far. If I've posted any incorrect info please let me know. Also if I've forgotten a setup please post it up with a picture and approximate price range.
This thread is for CAT-BACK exhaust discussion only!

Another thing - the factory exhaust is very heavy. I bought my EVO used, with Buschur's 3" turbo back - no cat and magnaflow muffler installed already. The previous owner gave me the old exhaust pieces. When I went to get them out of the trunk, I nearly wrenched my back.

You must include the AVO exhuast on this thread. I am also suprised I don't see B&B exhuast on here as well. A third option tould be the new line from Tanabe, the one with the "bigger" muffler and different packing material. ANy of the above would qualify as a quiet exhuast.
