YES, you can always pick up an Evo...

I miss my 3rd gen, what a perfect car it was...as long as I lived down the street from Pettit Racing

tough decision bro, both are bad *** sports cars, if you feel its time for a change go for it. especially with that type of mileage and only 1500 produced. should be a good deal if the price is right.

I would say to do it as long as you have a second car. If it's going to be a daily driver it might be a pain in the ***.

You should go with the Spirit R for a number of reasons. Plain and simply the last generation FD is a better vehicle than the Evo. The Spirit R is also a rare special edition vehicle that you could keep as a collector’s vehicle. It is true that the rotaries have some cooling problems especially in the US market where must tuners really don’t know how to work on these vehicles. With a proper tune you should have no problems. Rotaries also are very thirsty and consume a large amount of fuel quickly. I don’t know if this would be a problem in your country but it is something to think about. From a performance stand point no vehicle out of Japan is as good as the rx-7. The Rx-7 tuned will dominate any other tuned vehicle from Japan in all categories. The only vehicle that will handle better is the NSX-R. That being said, if this is your everyday vehicle keep the Evo because it is more practical. If this is just a have fun type vehicle get the RX-7 spirit R.

UPDATE!!!

Well guys, I just picked up an RX-7 Spirit R Type A. with only 19000km on the ODO. Needless to say I am excited! I have been drooling over this car for so long. Now I have my Evo as well as the RX-7. Here are some pics. Enjoy.
