Weird ACD light issue
Okay, wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar to this.
Driving one night, all 3 ACD lights came on. Shut the car off, checked the fluid, all seemed fine. Fired it back up and it was normal. Didn't do it for a couple more days.
A few days later, driving home at night, the lights came back on. Pulled over to check the fluid, and as soon as I turned the headlights off, the lights went back to normal...
Drove one day with the headlights on, and again, about 20 minutes into it the ACD lights came on. While continuing to drive, shut the headlights off, and boom, back to normal.
So, the jist is the lights only come on after 20 or so minutes of driving, but only when the headlights are on.
I'm not interested in having the dealership pull the car apart looking for some electrical gremlin, so if we can't figure it out on our own, we'll just live with it. I am 99% sure it's not an actual ACD issue, just something with the lights.
Any thoughts, comments, concerns?

Electrical Short, somewhere. I bet the dealership will have a ball with your evo. They won't be able to fix it. Just take pictures of the mods and send it in to cancel your warranty. And then blame your mods for causing the problem.

Ok guys, here is the deal, coming from the first car that came with it, Evo7, the thing is, most of the time that all 3 lights comes on, the system needs to be bleed properly, only thing is that the only proper way to do it is by going to the dealer and use the MUTII to be able to raise the correct pressure through the system and properly bleed it. Do not even bother to do it with the engine running, the system will never raise enough pressure.

We are not taking this to a dealer obviously, its already too late. We've isolated the issue to something electrical - it only occurs when the OEM HID headlights are on.

Have a turbo timer by any chance? I notice that the turbo timer does wierd things with the ACD lights, but thats usually when it's active, or the ignition is going off/on. Maybe just FYI.

Did you check to make sure there is no leak coming from the bleeder? Try to have the dealer bleed ACD and see what happen. You are right about not wanting the dealer pull the car apart. Just make sure you tell them to bleed it and nothing more.

mine has done it before but only when the TT is running and I put the key back to the on position. It has only happend a few times. I wouldn't worry about it untill all 3 lights come on and stay on. That means there is some kind of problem with the ACD according to the owners manual.
