Do any of you have experience with these two dealerhips?
First and foremost, I just want to mention that I would have been in the same situation as you and your friend. Originally joined the AirForce, but decided to get an honorary discharge to stay home. Now, I probably would have been somewhere overseas excited to go home to buy a brand new EVO .

I'm from NJ and called up at least 30 dealerships in the PA/NJ area (both 6%tax). Out of the 30, Tom Massano was the dealership who gave me the best deal over the phone. They're the closest ones who has an 05 yellow EVO8 GSR w/ SSL and yellow is my favorite color. They agreed to give it to me for invoice. I also worked out a price with them on a IX MR, and gave me 38k OTD. They were really the most helpful over the phone out of the 30 dealerships that I kept in constant contact with. The only reason why I didn't end up buying mines there last minute, was because of the 5 hour drive, to and from. As well as being worried how I would get the car a NJ inspection sticker since it's from PA. Hence, why I opted for Brad Benson Mitsu 30 min away from home. If I lived in PA, Tom Massano would get my business. I chose the 06 MR, since I figured that I was buying a brand new EVO(dream car since Gran Turismo came out on PS1), determined to keep for a verry loooong time. Now that I can afford it, I might as well spend the extra cash for the MR.

Now the only thing that is killing me with the total price of my car is the 7% financing rate. Yes, I paid 38,000 OTD with a 12grand CASH down, but including the 7% financing interest for 60 months, after 5years from now, it'll be like I paid just about $45grand for the car . I'm only 21 and purchased the car under my own name. Don't have the best credit as well, so I guess that's fine. I can already tell that this IX MR is and will be 10x better than what my 425AWHP 98GSX was.

What's everyone else's APR % rates?

I have talked with Andy Fox of Lancaster over the phone from here for about 20 mins. Real nice guy. I told him of the deal with Tom Massano. A few hours later, Andy Fox responded by email with a deal of 29,900 OTD. Where as I had to deal with Tom Massano for a week with multiple email responses to get 32,500. I'm not knocking Tom Massano, but Andy Fox steped up and gave us something we couldn't refuse. Does 29,900 sound like a low ball deal for buying two cars at once? Has any of you heard of bad service from Lancaster Mitsubishi??

Thanks

29990 OTD doesn't sound believable to me. Even 29990 before TTL sounds like a stretch.

Even if you are buying two at the same time.

I can get 500$ off MSRP for a 9 MR, or 1000$ off 9 GSR.

Very believable....because thats not that great of a deal.

$500 over invoice is an average deal this time of year. Especially if they truely are not giving any incentives.

If you say 1000 off MSRP isn't that great of a deal, I'm getting mine for 1500 off MSRP and you say that it's not believeable? I could just not be understanding what you are saying...

Isn't invoice 30,1XXX, so it is possible with the 1k rebate for this deal to happen.

I'm not saying its a great deal, just posting what I was quoted over the phone by someone I kinda know. I'm sure I could squeeze a slightly better price if need be

Either way its a great car and a few hundred bucks one way or the other isn't that bad as long as that dealer will take GOOD care of you in the future. I would bring that up a few times before you close the deal. Maybe get them to write it down on a business card.

Could you get me $1500 off MSRP on a 06 MR GG? I've got the cash and ready to buy. What dealer is this? I'm ready, I repeat I am ready.

Stuart Mitsubishi will be getting in an EB 9 the first of the week. The GG MR is spoken for, but they will sell below MSRP. Talk with Joe Toledo 772-215-9711. They are in Stuart, Florida and are a great dealership.
