I need to know where I could find a replace today cover for the bottom portion of the stock recaro racing seat, is the cloth blue and black suede or possible just the same suede material used. I went out and tried to see what a couple could do for me, I went to a interior/window place here where I live and they said they couldn't get the exact material and it would not match so they told me to head to a mitsu parts dealer.. So.. I went to a mitsu dealer and they told me I have to contact recaro becuase theyc an only order the entire bottom portion of the seat which is $1400. So, I got on the phone with recaro and they said I would have to send an email to japan recaro and see what they can do about it becuase the recaro here in the us doesnt deal with our seats.

So i'm not sure if im being mislead by any of the people I dealt with today, I'm hoping that maybe someone on this forum went through a similar problem and had their seat fixed. Any solutions appreciated

I had the same problem and ended up buying the whole set of seat covers from someone that did a custom interior. When I wear these out I will go with a full leather. It should cost about 1000 to 1400 to do the whole interior from what I have read on here.

Yea, I would deffinetly look into a full new custom interior, it will be cheaper for sure...or just get new racing seats...will be cheaper too than buyin just the seat bottom...thats IMO of course...good luck!!
