I guess it really needs two Wastgates to bypass all that gas. Why not work on some sort of Anti-Lag system for the track? That would be nuts.

Anyone find it ironic that "lesser" cars make it into magazines like Super Street, and cars like Chris' aren't?

Chris has the ultimate sleeper Evo, from the pictures I saw it has stock rims. IMO take the carbon hood off and the AMS stickers and you have an essentially stock looking evo (nevermind the gigantic FMIC).

I love this car and I'm currently building a lesser version. Meaning I'm making lots of power, but I'm trying to keep it looking stock. Now...I'll only be making maybe half the power that Chris' car is going to make, I'm shooting for 400 right now. Obvious budget reasons and also I'm teaching myself to tune.

Has Chris submitted his ride to any of the larger import magazines? Have the SRVidz guy send a video or something. It's not like he's not already known throughout the internet car enthusiest boards.

You can't go to ANY decent car message board and not find a post about this car. Honestly it makes me laugh when SC'd cobra's and the GM LS1/2/6 crowd are "gunning" for him. Pretty sad when you're "gunning" for a 2.3 liter powered car with force fed 5+ liter cars.

In my mind, the tide has turned for the import/domestic crowd. It's a small victory, but still a victory.

Myself and another member has written magazines. I wrote the editor of Sport Compact Car nominating Chris's car for an article, and he wrote Modified. See the first couple pages of the thread. I gave the editor a link to this thread and the SVT forums to show him the amount of attention Chris's car gets. I got no reply. I think if more members would write in, it would help the cause.

Like another EvolutionM member posted above, "it's a sleeper"!!

Also you don't need all the goofy aftermarket body kits and crap to make this car go faster. So in my opinion Chris is a very smart dude to spend his cash under the hood instead of putting on exterior crap that won't enhance the performance of his vehicle..........unless it was totally carbon fiber..........

2 thumbs up Bro!!!!
