the reason why hes personal is because on the street not the strip he gets quicker spool with a stoker kit not because he wants to turn 10k but because he wants to not fall back 5 cars on the start of the raceing "not that im encouraging street racing" but it is fun to whoop up on 600hp z06s

The biggest difference between a built 2.0 and 2.3 has been listed here. in the end the 2.0 will rev higher giving you the ability to run higher in the rpm band and lengthen your power band. the 2.3 offers close the same senario but giving you power down low. It sacrifices your redline thogh. Honestly I wouldn't rev a 2.3 past 8k. while a built 2.0 done up properly can see 9500....great for BIG turbos that live up top.....like our shop car. Chris car will be able to run slighltly less boost and have it delivered sooner due to his motor. This is an ideal setup for the street. When a Customer asks me what he should do when looking to build a hp monster I always ask him the same qualifying question " is this going to be a street car or are you more so planning to have it live at the track?" Street = 2.3 Track = 2.0

I have an important question which maybe Chris himself or AMS can answer...
Being completely honest, how streetable is this car going to be and does Chris plan to drive this DAY-TO-DAY? My assumption is not very streetable, and no he wont drive it day to day. But i'd like to know from those who know.

I wouldnt doubt that iit could do just fine on the street with a 2.3 liter. The extra displacement would make it pretty good on off boost driving around. My Sti is a dream to drive around off boost compared to my evo.

It will be able to be driven on the street but I really wouldnt use this as a daily driver. we are building and tuning it to be driven on the street but there are several components on this car that really keep it from being driven Daily. Chris knows that. The car will be taken out to smack people around. Just like he had intended.
I had a long conversation with the editor of Modified mag today while talking about our article for the shop car. Modified has been really good to us since the begining and since no publication has really looked into chris' car I wanted to give them first crack at it. I Gave Chris the Editor's number and they will be in contact. I am sure Chris along with myself will keep you all in the loop about the car. Good work and well spent money doesnt go unnoticed in this buisness. I was simply trying to give Chris some of the credit that he deserves. Its still the early stages guys. Dont go starting rumors about it. Right now its just talking.
