Why is the spool issue even really coming up exactly?? All it comes down to is being in the right RPM band when it counts.. as we've seen in the past Chris has been in the sweet spot everytime and proven himself a competent driver. Remember its not all about the car, it always comes down to the driver, I've seen Z06's cut 13's in the 1/4 as an example.. so it wasn't the car but the idiotic driver
IMO this car + Chris's driving ability (once he gets use to the new setup) = for some badass racing vids

EvoVIIFL,

I think it's just perception. Why does everyone love Chris's car besides the fact that it is just BAD? Because it is a streetcar!! If this was a race car it wouldn't be a big deal. No shop car has seen this type of attention because most people want a "Street" car not a "Race" car.

So, when you start saying there is no A/C or spool up is 5K and redlines at 8k people start thinking how streetable is this? What will it be like on pump gas? etc etc.

It's going to be bad regardless of when it spools!!

no need for the evo to be a daily driver, some dont have the luxury, but some of us do.. there isnt a damn thing wrong with it.. my 03 had 18,000 in 2 years.. now my 05 has only 1800 on it.. its nice only waxed the car twice, and only had to wash it 4 times in the 5 months i have had it now.. little ot, but just discussing chris's post..

Then it should only take you about 4 seconds to get there

There are songs by Crossfade, Mudvayne, Tool, and of course Chicago's own Chevelle. Excellent song selection for an "*** KICKER" car.

Yea, that's the video.

It's the 2nd song in the video when the cobra starts doing a burnout... I just listened to my crossfade cd, wasn't on there. Any idea?

I used Chevelle-Closure in the video where the silver Cobra is doing a burnout, then the EVO runs the black Cobra. And the video where the EVO runs the blue and dar grey Cobra: Crossfade-So far away

Damn, that's not it either... Can you just list all the songs you used to make it easier? Sorry about all the confusion..

It's specifically the song that is playing at 1:30ish.
Just to clarify, we are talking about the video that is 5:04 long..

I am calling Bull*hit on this one. Show us a LOG of that one, until then I think your full of shi* or a magician. You are telling us 35psi with a 35r on a 2.0l @ 3800rpm...you the same guy who has the Brooklyn Bridge for sale? Oh wait..I hear something...is that your mommy calling you for dinner?
