i know the 42r weighs in at 35lbs or so. the smaller 42r is a good candidate for the evo, but the 74mm is what the ISP car had and that car wasn't making power till like 8k rpm.

Header design, ar ratio of the turbine, and also engine characteristics play a part in the powerband.

That car is awesome. I've seen numerous videos of it. It destroyed everything with 8 cylinders and 4 wheels EXCEPT for a supercharged Cobra that I saw in a video run against it. The Cobra slaughtered it.

Despite being as fast as it is, there's always somebody faster. Hardly a slouch by any means though. I'd love to own that AMS car.

There is defenetly always someone faster but I have not been beat by a cobra. You are probably talking about the 68 camaro (with a 375 shot which we found out later LOL) that got me.

for those of you that are wondering about spool. this is the same turbo that we have on our shop car and a 2.0 liter motor. we are in full boost well before 6000 rpm. Tuning, header design, Turbine housing and some other tips make a BIG difference as Sean said.

Back on topic though here are some updated pics of Chris Car. Tim (Shop Manager) was tearing her down yesterday.

no he is sticking with a 2.3, im just stating that if we can spool it that fast on a 2.0 he can at the very least spool it 300 rpm quicker on his 2.3

I've seen the video with the '68 Camaro. I was expecting the Evo to destroy it. It surprised me when the Camaro started pulled.

That Camaro was a pretty badass car. To take a 375 shot, that Camaro must've had some serious work done to it.

I thought there was a video of a Cobra also beating a black AMS Evo. It got slaughtered. I'm sure there's more than one black Evo with AMS parts, so maybe it was someone else's.

I never saw any footage that the Camaro was "trailered." It could've been trailered in, but it looked like just a street car to me. Either way, that car was fast.

In the beg of the vid it shows the camaro on the trailor being driven in... I only know of one version of that vid so maybe go back at take a look at the begining when the music is playing.
