500WHP dirty?

Has anyone else had problems with 500WHP.com? I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in but I ordered a C-West front bumper from them and when we opened the box at the body shop the bumper was cracked horribly. I asked them about this and they said that because I had brought it to the body shop they didn't have to help me out at all, I asked if I could give them back the broken bumper they sent me and have them replace it but they said no. I am filing a complaint with the credit card company and I went back to my account on their website to get the information from the transaction and they had deleted my account and therefore the records of the transaction that would be available to me. I had heard good things about them on here and trusted them to send me a quality product, they insist that they inspect all of their products before they ship them but refused to help me in dealing with the shipping company which, combined with their erasing of my records, leads me to believe they simply and knowingly sent me a broken bumper. Dirty.

If they sent by UPS, try to give them a call to see what is under insured.

If they sent by USPS, see if 500whp.com purchased insurance for it.

I really doubt that Jeff would send out something broken, I havn't had the best of luck with 500WHP but I will say he has great customer service at least for contacting you about problems and solving them quickly. I will say one thing in my experience with online purchasing is to always print out everything you do and keep all emails ect... Until the whole transaction has been done.

I hope you get this sorted out.

Yeah this was pretty much my first experience ordering online and I should have printed out everything before my mail client automaticly deleted it, I guess you can never forsee when problems will arise. And because they deleted my account and therefore all records accessable of the transaction this pretty much is screwing me because now it will be a little bit harder to verify but the credit card charges and the shipment info and the pictures will still prove the point. We're having our lawyer help us on this and the attempt to cover it up by erasing the records could really come back to bite them.

and thank y'all for the bumps, I appreciate it. All I wanted was a functional C-west bumper is that too much to ask for?

the case is that everyone isnt always treated fairly, just because you were dosent mean the next will be, i hope this guy gets this fixed and go through all measures because the money that we all pay for stuff on this site, from vendors we deserve good service.
