Hope these attachments work. I found these on the Web @ http://www.izoom.com/2006_mitsubishi_raider_evo.html

There you guys will find a bad writeup on the IXs along with more pics of all three variants. The event was held at Portland International Raceway not long ago.

i love the RS

The purists EVO. I thought not having power windows, sun roof, stereo would be horrible, afterall im used to the comforts of my e46 m3. Not the case, i drive my RS more than the m3. It amazes me that it gets dissed for not having all the options of the regular evo, afterall this is the true essence of what the evo is supposed to be. Thanks for the pics.

Thank you. I think I might change my user name to EVO IX RS Owner-2-B. I want red, though.

I still want a X, but doubt that the first year Xs will be what I want. I mean, Mitsubishi won't probably release different versions the first year. Being that the release date is still two years off, waiting for that no frills, stripped version will push my wait even further, say three to four years. Also, there's always that chance that a X RS won't be made.

At least a three year wait! Hell no. I best get the IX and be happy sooner rather than later. Three years is just too long for me. The two years would've been stretching it brutally.

I like. If I were into road racing or rally, I would have bought one in heartbeat. But for daily driver, I would prefer GSR

I hrad the RS IX gets ABS this year, is this true ?
thats the only downside of the RS. ABS will help you go around a track faster.

No ABS this year ... I agree with both your points.

Anyone have any red RS pics?

A USDM IX looks like a USDM VIII, just change the front bumpers and the rear lights! Good thin we got the Euro-spec LHD RS versions here.
