Top Gear is actually a British show on BBC, but was re-published for the American market by Discovery Channel. Since BBC is not available in the US (except the BBC-America version), this is the most likely way to get the show back on the air. Please take a moment to visit the BBC-A site.

My wife and I both watch that show...probably the best, most interesting car show I've seen.

 

Same here. It was one of my favorites. Please spread the word (to other forums, sites, etc.) The show still exists.. we just need to convince them to keep bringing it to the US market. Personally, I don't think there's any need for them to re-produce/re-format it for us like they did. I would be happy with the regular UK version.

That's BS...Part of the problem I notice was the station and times it came on.

I think if it got on a better station with a better time slot it would do great in the US.

Dude... I TIVO that show every week! I've been following it for years downloading AVI's off the net... what a joke!

 

it was a sweet show, i like it more in its original form than in the US form though. they should give it a better time here, i'm in bed by the time it's on

 

I'm glade it got canned, and I love Top Gear. The problem is the American edited version of Top Gear is butchered. They don't give you the full story. Any negative comments about a car are removed because the Discovery channel doesn't want to offend anyone (any sponsors).

I want Top Gear, but not that edited crappy Top Gear. I want the real Top Gear and I requested it on the BBC America site

 

then i'll just need to worry about getting BBC america...

 

+1....I first noticed that on the FQ400 episode, they didnt show the part when it was "racing" some fiat wagon.
