I dropped by sweeney one time and all that i could hear from the dealer was the STi's were faster than evo's balh blah blah. The evo's will never be faster. They wanted me to trade in my car for a faster STi. I laughed in they're faces and told them to watch this.

I pulled out of the dealership and got on the onramp that goes right beside the dealship. They watched me mash it on the damp onramp with spinning tires all the way through 1st 2nd and part of 3rd. lol

They had a 2003 mitsubishi lancer evo with 19 on the odometer for 22,000 and I asked for a test drive and really liked it. Really clean and while I was gone with a car the dealership literally sold my STi to some 40 year old guy... LOL anyways they told me they would pay me 24,000 for it and I handed them the keys anyways right now they are flashing the computer and havin it detailed for me and they sold the sti right away for 26000 I only payed 19000
That sucks. It sounds like you ended up with someone else's problem with that STi.

I hope the Evo turns out to be a better car for you. Good luck.

FWIW, I never buy used high performance cars. I'd just rather take the initial hit on depreciation, just for peace of mind.
