The rear seatbelt hardware with child safety anchors and all that weigh 12.5lbs

spare tire: 31lbs

Trunk base, trunk panels, jack, floor mats: 17lbs

AC + condensor + front beam: 51lbs

Cat delete: 10lbs

Floor mats: 5lbs

PF 2 piece rotors: 4lb reduction over stock rotors

Stock struts to coilovers: 18lb reduction

Stock recaro: 37.lbs, replacing with spraco evo: 11.8lb reduction

Stock battery to Mini battery: 18lbs reduction

202lbs reduction right there. It adds up.

I have no idea how much I save with a aftermarket catback and downpipe.

to bring back a old thread....one could also

install the buschur rear mustache bar and side diff plates: 20 lbs off in the rear

AMS front crossmember bar: 10 lbs off in the front

AMS roof (depending on which model you have): 15-40 lbs off the center

Carbon doors: (4doors w/ plexi): 120 lbs

Carbon doors: (rears w/plexi): about 50-70 lbs off

Changing all your glass to plexi: 60 lbs off the car

Sound deadening material (all): 40 lbs off car

Driveshaft: (stock) 60 lbs Carbon shaft: 30 lbs

it really would add up if you think about it..
